The Wisconsin Union brand utilizes lots of bright colors, fun shapes, and of course the iconic Chairback icon. So, by starting with one spread design, I was able to create the others based on that first one and adjust those colors and shapes. A fellow designer, Max Homstad, handled the final adjustments of this design - taking it over the finish line!

I always like to start a project by getting my initial layout ideas down in a sketch. This helps me keep track of all the essential pieces that need to make it into the design. It also keeps me from jumping directly into InDesign without a solid starting point.
For this project I knew I would have of course a main title, body copy, and images, as well as specific performance statistics to share. Within the Wisconsin Union branding, there are specific image mask shapes and icons that I could turn to for inspiration.
